11: 16 p.m. 4/17/05 - I declare Now an Postmodern art piece. - By Will Harris

With a title like that, you're expecting to be great right? Because I sure as motherfucking hell would.
Well, get over it it's me we're talking. I don't do anything great. I don't believe in it.

but...

Maybe this will be my turning point. I doubt it but....

Ok here we go, The journey into me begins. It's funny because this could have turned into another... you know... Internet playtime sorta things BUT!
But I saw An end to an end, the blog of Eric's, who is a really cool guy I met here at Western, but I really didn't take him to serious. I usually see the internet... well as a plaything.
People keep saying that the internet is such an unreliable place.
It's not so bad but I don't know. It's not something I would invest time in, as I would say. (Remind me to tell that story one time [Note to me-the story was about my essay in comp lit])

Right so this is where this story was going.

So I go to the blog and the first post is about a guy who is stark raving mad, in a wearid sort of stoner way (weird because I know these kids aren't into that sort of thing), about the world being fuct up.
Boohoo. Like and these are 'priveliged' kids too. Really?
There are all these inspriational quotes all over the place and it is truly commendable and honorable even but, its just kids ranting.
And they recognize it and such, and blog about it.
Postmodern just a bit? Isn't the essential problem with 'today's youth'. Like action! In all those futuristic book from the 80's people are using computer not to 'change prevailing mentality', it was the fuck shit up!
Now we're more cilivized then the cheesy, Mad Max/Eascape from L.A.-esque movie I am probably making up, but you get the picture right?
Let's get postmodern and say "Who the fuck am I to say anything?(!)" But another humble blogger who's using his internet given right to talk shit!

We're better than that... Mad Max that is. Oh don't pout, I'm on your side. Really, I'm poor, you're 'fighting' for me. And I aprichiate it, I do.
But let's be pragmatic. The poor and disenfranchised are poor and disenfranchised. What do the have to offer?
This the world as we know it and the world as it will stay as long as there are people, buying clothes with the names of rappers on the tag in the guise of a 'desinger'(?!) that cost like a fraction of a percent of what is cost to make (and pay the people who made it).
So I pose this to you boys, how do we get people to stop buying clothes that (at a lose for words)...make them happy, and share this with... the poor and disenfranchise.
This should the purpose of your blog. Who are you waiting for? You've made the effort thus far to pick an issue and start a blog. People not coming? Make them. Get out there. In the streets, in the malls, wherever. OUT! Your writings are powerful, they make sense, but how, boys how?
That's for you guys to figure out. I think I'll be quite comfortable climbing th corporate ladder. Might be fun, never no.
(Save me Eric, with goodlooks and charm like that you can change the world... you other guys too, you're great)
Nice and awkard,
just the way I like it.

Well, it's 11:57. I liked that, now to make it a regular habit. I'll try, I make no promises. I sort of like the idea of this 'rotting in cyberspace'. I'm weird (read lazy) like that.
